Sakuma Suzu is a well known model who is very "kawaii". She's also very much a spoiled and rotten brat who tried to destroy the relationship of Miki and You. She had witnessed Kei and Miki supposedly "hugging" in the street and was mad as hell because how dare Miki hug another guy when she already has a boyfriend like You?

She thinks that Miki isn't good enough for You because though Miki is "cute" she's not beautiful like You and she wonders why You had chosen her as a girlfriend. When she and Miki first met, she had thought that Meiko was You's girlfriend but had a look of disappointment when she found out it was Miki.

Suzu succeeds at breaking them up for a short time, especially after the Halloween incident but was disappointed when they got back together. Unlike the manga Suzu who tried to set up You and Meiko on a date, the anime Suzu wants You for herself, even kissing him in front of the entire Toryo student body as well as in front of the senseis and the parents. You only sees her as a "little sister" however and it's quite funny how she tries so hard for his attention, even getting him to tutor her, but to no prevail. It was also amusing to see how mad she got when everyone basically ditched her during New Year's and wished she hadn't joined them.

Her one big misdeed towards Miki was during the ski episode where she almost risked Miki's life just so she could get Miki out of You's side for a while so she could be with him instead. During that episode however, Suzu began to see how good a person Miki really is and decided that You and Miki really do make a good couple after all. And she backed away from their relationship.

She is Satoshi's little cousin and her father is Sakuma Rihito. Her father was the one responsible for suggesting that You should go to America because of his interest in architecture.

Although Suzu does become a much nicer person in the end, she is still very much like a child and we never actually see her good and likable side. Well, at least I never did. She's still pretty superficial with all the "beautiful" talk but there might be something there between her and Michael and especially Kei and her. ~Even Miki commented that a relationship might spring up between them during the very last episode. I really want to see that happen. Like I said in the "Couple" page for Kei and Suzu, they do make a good couple because they are very similar. I think Kei could change her demeanor and attitude.

Instead of getting tutored for Math and English, maybe she needs some piano lessons too. ^_^

Suzu in the manga is much more likable however and she's much nicer to Miki. I especially like her little interactions with Kei.
