Kei and Suzu

This relationship is more of a "what if" than a "happily ever after" like the other couples. The anime hinted that there might be a relationship in ep. #76 when Miki was talking about what will happen to her and her friends in the future. Kei looked a bit irritated when Suzu started talking to him but maybe he's faking it. :-)~

Kei in the beginning hated Suzu, even roughly pushing her out of Bobson's because she was having the wrong conclusions of him and Miki. During Chiristmas Eve, he was a little nicer to her, when she went to the Lizard to see if You or Miki were there. She asked him if he saw them, after Kei gave her a cup of coffee. Kei didn't answer. Instead he went to the piano and started to play. Suzu was surprised that he was playing for her. He told her it was because they were both alone for Christmas Eve. Suzu was touched.

In the manga, Yoshizumi-sama hinted it a lot better ^_^

Miki was still working at Bobson's and Kei stops by commenting on her short hair cut. Miki offers him ice cream but Kei refuses because he's waiting for someone and that someone was really late. And who would that someone be but Suzu. Miki started to tease Kei about going out with Suzu but Kei tells her that it wasn't what it looked like and that he's only with her because she got tickets to a recital that he had forgotten to buy for himself. And that she's been following him around for a month, bothering him.

Kei's story was that he was buying sheet music a month before and decided to play and tryout a piano that was there. Suddenly Suzu appeared and stood closely beside him, asking him to

play more because it sounded "beautiful." He refused and she asked him for his name, when he told her that his name meant "firefly" in Kanji, she also said it was very "beautiful". After that, he tells Miki, she always shows up at his school to listen to him practice.

Suzu tells Miki that Kei looks "beautiful" whenever he plays. Miki asks if Suzu likes Kei and without hesitation, Suzu says "yes" and clings to his arm.

Kei tells her not to cling to him and since they both realized that they were both going to be late for the recital, Kei turns to go with Suzu following. They run together and Suzu runs ahead of him, turning back to him telling him to hurry. Kei tells her that she shouldn't look back while she's running because she might trip.

Miki is watching them, smiling. Thinking that though Kei looked irritated and told her that she was wrong about them, Miki says to herself, " Kei-kun, somehow, despite what you say, you look rather pleased."

You know how some of those past TV shows, they do a reunion special years later? Well, if pigs suddenly started to fly and they did an MB reunion, I would really like to see Kei and Suzu together. They have many things in common like being rich, they're both successful at a young age, etc.. and they look good together. Their last appearance in the manga is really cute don't you think?
