Tsutomu has been admiring Arimi since elementary school. They were never a couple. Its just that
Tsutomu had the longest of all the unrequited love there is on the show. Well, not if you include Ryouko.
Tsutomu never actually told Arimi he loved her. He told her how he felt more or less when he
confronted her and made her choose between him or Ginta but that's really it. He just couldn't help pursuing
her because she's just so "kawaii!" No matter how many times she rejects him. Like I said in his profile,
he is very much persistent.
I don't think Arimi hates him or anything. She just thinks he's a
pain in the ASS because all he does is follow her. But he's not a stalker or anything of that nature.
I just feel sorry for him sometimes because he cries everytime Arimi yells at him or turns her head away.
I did like how Arimi felt compassion for him when he asked her SERIOUSLY finally that she should choose
him. But it can never be because as she said sadly to him, "Gomen nasai, I can't return your love..."
I think she would have given him a chance if he was more mature in the first place and
wasn't so aggressive and if he kept his crew cut ^_^. Maybe if he blushed more often.... then maybe that
would work too. ^_^.
You gotta love how the two interact though. One's annoyed and the other's
pissed. One cries the other yells, it's so funny. Rokutanda cracks me up whenever he runs after Arimi
with tears rolling down his cheeks.
